Well, I am back from the National Association of Realtors show in Las Vegas. I must tell you that it was a great experience and reinforced my belief that this is an exciting time for Costa Rican Real Estate. There was a lot of buzz surrounding Costa Rica and the great investment opportunities it presents to for foreign buyers. As the current US housing market continues to remain stagnate, many investors, agents and buyers are seeking alternative real estate investment options. This was good news for Paradise Brokers as we released our new renderings of our now available condos located at the San Buenas Golf Resort.

During our time at the show we had a steady flow of interested people. Many of them had great questions about or projects and Costa Rica in General. We had the chance to explain to people the advantages of investing in Costa Rica and a second home. We explained that not only can your property serve as a retirement home, but also provide you with a great rental income while building equity. As many visitors pointed out, as properties in the northern part of Costa Rica continue to rise, the appeal of the South Pacific Region is growing. This is great news for those who invest early in the South Pacific Region.

One thing I learned at the show through various conversations is that the AARP has moved Costa Rica into the second spot for where Americans wish to retire. I also learned that many investment groups who traditionally have invested in the US commercial real estate market are how seeking investments outside the US. All of these things are great indicators as to how the Market in Costa Rica will grow in the future. The Southern zone provides retirees and investors with some great opportunities. Prices in the Southern Zone are still low and should provide an outstanding ROI for individual buyers as well as investment groups.

In summary, there was a great deal of “buzz” surrounding Costa Rica and the opportunities available. There was a lot of interest in the country as well as our Development. All the ingredients are there to make the South Pacific Region of Costa Rica and investment success story for those who invest early.
