Spirit Begins Operations in Costa Rica Tomorrow
Spirit Airlines begins operations in Costa Rica tomorrow, with the first passengers arriving from Florida.
The airline will have three flights a week between Fort Lauderdale and San José and beginning in May will begin daily service.
The airline is expected to bring more than 50.000 passengers a year to Costa Rica, though its permit to operate is only on a temporary basis for the next three months. The airline has reportedly already begun the process of obtaining a permanent operations license.
