Duane Halverson Costa Rican Update

I just returned from a great trip to Costa Rica. This was my third trip in ten months and I cannot get over the growth that is happening right now! The area triangulated from San Isidro del General to Dominical to Palmar Sur/Norte is just hopping with energy, growth and new construction.
I remember visiting Taiwan and Russia (10 days after the collapse of communism) back in the early-to-mid-1990s and realizing at that time that the opportunity in both of those countries was almost endless. Well, after visiting the country, intensely studying the economic indicators and witnessing what has happened in the last ten months, I can honestly tell you I have never been part of a more exciting opportunity.
The hospital in Cortez continues to grow and it appears to be on schedule of opening by August 2007. I observed several new restaurants have opened since my last trip in May and also noticed several hotels were adding on. The number of people in the area visiting is the most in the history of the region.
We gave property tours to several guests that we met on our trip and also spent several days with an old acquaintance of mine from my days at Land O'Lakes. Given the sheer number of people and the interest in real estate, right now is a great time to explore Costa Rica.
Our developments are also doing very well. We sold two lots in San Buenas in the same day and are in the final stages of finalizing several building contracts on both Amelia's Estates and San Buenas. Both San Buenas and Amelia's Estates have roads in place and we can now offer lots from $39,900 to $249,900.
We have a busy time ahead of us with many guests lined up and ready to look at our developments. Remember, we can line up all the details of your trip (hotel, car rental, etc.) - please give us a couple week's notice.
