TodayParadise Brokers COO Nick Halverson was the guest of San Isidro del General Mayor Rosibel Ramos Madrigal, and had the honor of meeting Costa Rican President Oscar Arias.

The event took place in Buenos Aires, Puntarentas at the inaguration of the new water plant for the Perez Zeledon region. There were numerous high ranking officials in the audience, including the two Senators from the region, Mayor Rosibel Ramos Madrigal, Deputy Mayor Hans Cruz, the President of AyA (government agency in charge of all water in Costa Rica) and the regional Manager of ICE (the telecommunications company in Costa Rica).

 

There were numerous speeches given to the 2,000+ spectators, dedicated primarily to the upcoming referrendum vote on the Central American Free Trade Agreement.

Throughout the afternoon, numerous school-children walked up to President Arias to give him cards and welcome him to the area.
