For university students who
speak English the II Feria Bilingüe de Empleo
will bring 2.000 jobs their way. The job fair is set
for July 28, 29 and 30 at CENAC.
The
job fair is being organized by the Coalición
Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarrollo (CINDE)
who will provide more information in the coming
days on how many companies and the exact number
of jobs that will be offered, that it expected to
be at least 2.000.
CINDE
says that 16 companies are expected to participate
from various sectors with jobs from accounting to
business administration, engineering and manning
call centres.
Companies
like Procter & Gamble, IBM, SYKES, Intel, Languaje
Line, Western Union, Hewlett Packard and Fujitsu
who currently have operations in Costa Rica are
expected to participate, along with a number of
companies that are planning expansion to Costa Rica.
CINDE
says that English will be important for the jobs
being offered, as well as other languages like Portuguese,
Italian, French, German and Mandarin.
Alejandra
Cobb, Corporate Relations manager at Procter &
Gamble, explained that candidates will need to be
fluent in English with at least a 70% grasp of the
language before they can be considered.
Cobb

in a similar job fair.
